Commercial Interior Photography
With more than four decades behind the camera, I’ve spent much of my career photographing interiors for designers, brands, and publications including Architectural Digest and Homes & Gardens. My work is grounded in documenting spaces clearly and thoughtfully, allowing the design to speak for itself rather than imposing a style.
Each project begins with understanding how the space has been conceived and how it is meant to be experienced. I pay close attention to structure, materials, and light, working in a calm, considered way that comes from many years of collaborating with architects, designers, and creative teams.
The intention is to create images that feel natural, balanced, and enduring — photographs that convey the character of the interior and can be used confidently across editorial features, portfolios, and brand communications.
Culinary Photography
I create culinary photography that is rooted in the atmosphere of the kitchen, restaurant, or setting in which it is made. Working across the Netherlands, I collaborate with chefs, restaurants, publishers, and hospitality brands to produce imagery for cookbooks, menus, editorial features, and marketing.
My approach is simple and considered — focusing on natural light, texture, and presentation to show food as it is meant to be experienced. Rather than over-styling, I aim to capture the character of each dish and the environment behind it, creating photographs that feel authentic, inviting, and ready for both print and digital use.
People & Lifestyle Photography
My portrait and lifestyle work is about observing rather than directing — allowing people, spaces, and situations to settle into something natural before photographing them. I prefer to keep the process simple and unobtrusive, creating images that feel unforced and grounded in their surroundings.
These photographs are often made on location, using available light and real environments to give a sense of context and authenticity. Whether commissioned for editorial, brand, or private use, the intention is to produce imagery that feels considered without appearing staged, capturing both presence and atmosphere in a quiet, straightforward way.
